Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent,
this position performs work in the repair, maintenance, and care of Town
grounds, structures, and equipment. This
position is a temporary, seasonal position working part-time hours through
August. Responsibilities include,
performance of manual work such as mowing grass, trimming trees and shrubs,
cleaning ditches, painting and general grounds maintenance. Job requirements include the ability to
operate equipment such as pumps, chain saws, weed-eaters, tillers, hand tools,
rakes, hoes, shovels and push-mowers.
This position requires weekend and evening hours in order to provide
support and preparation of Town grounds for special events. Candidates are encouraged to submit a

YOUTH PROGRAM
COORDINATOR

The Town of Berlin is seeking a
Contractual Youth Program Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate
programs for the youth in the Town of Berlin.
Position is responsible for assessing youth program needs and
requirements; ensuring youth activities are available after school, weekends,
and during the summer; coordinating with youth organizations, evaluating
effectiveness of existing youth programs, and determining need for new programs
in the community. This position is
responsible for encouraging local youth to participate in Town programs as well
as recruiting, training, and directing volunteers. The successful candidate will possess
demonstrated knowledge in youth program development and implementation; ability
to administer youth programs; posses excellent verbal, written presentation, decision
making, listening, and communication skills.
Applicants are required to possess at least an Associate’s Degree in a
related field, possess at least 1 year of volunteer or paid experience in
developing and/or coordinating youth programs, availability to work during
evenings and/or weekends; and have the ability to successfully complete a
background investigation. Applications
