§ 16-1. Definitions.

    As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the following words or phrases shall have the following meanings:

LEGISLATION — Any form of county or municipal legislative enactment, including a law, ordinance, resolution and any action by which a county’s budget is adopted.

§ 16-2. Exemption from county legislation.

    The Town of Berlin shall be exempt from all legislation enacted by Worcester County relating to a subject with respect to which the Town of Berlin has a grant of legislative authority provided either by public general law or its Charter.

§ 16-3. Applicability.

    This chapter shall apply both prospectively and retrospectively.
