ARTICLE I
Truck Routes

§ 100-1. Administrative authority.
The Mayor and Council of Berlin shall have the right to establish truck
routes within the corporate limits of the Town of Berlin and shall further
have the right to prohibit the traversing of trucks as herein defined from
any street in the Town by appropriate signs and marking of said streets.
§ 100-2. Method of determination.
The method of determining said truck routes shall be by resolution duly passed from time to time after one public hearing duly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in the Town.
For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TRUCK — Any vehicle, regardless of the number of axles thereon, with a gross weight exceeding one ton. Said term shall exclude any vehicle otherwise prohibited making local deliveries to any business or residence located on the street prohibited.
§ 100-4. Violations and penalties.
Any violation of the provisions of this article shall be punishable, upon conviction, as a misdemeanor, as provided in Article I of Ch. 1, General Provisions, of the Code of the Town of Berlin.
